Donald J Trump has many flaws and has made wrong decisions.

Notwithstanding, I hope and expect he will be POTUS 2021-2024 because he won the election for all to see and is our best hope to counter the Great Reset which, while people differ as to what this will be, many world leaders advocate for it, and I see as a bad thing.  

But before I elaborate, I first offer two definitions. I don’t entirely agree them but for the sake of this article, they will do. According to Wikipedia: “The Great Reset is a proposal by the World Economic Forum (WEF) to rebuild the economy sustainably following the COVID-19 pandemic. It was unveiled in May 2020 by the United Kingdom’s Prince Charles and WEF director Klaus Schwab. It seeks to improve capitalism by making investments more geared toward mutual progress and focusing more on environmental initiatives. It has been criticized for using the pandemic to implement a risky experiment and a petition to stop it gained 80,000 signatures in less than 72 hours. A conspiracy theory has spread in response, claiming it will be used to bring in socialist and environmental changes and a supposed New World Order”. According to Wikipedia: “The New World Order (NWO) is a conspiracy theory which hypothesizes a secretly emerging totalitarian world government. The common theme in conspiracy theories about a New World Order is that a secretive power elite with a globalist agenda is conspiring to eventually rule the world through an authoritarian world government—which will replace sovereign nation-states—and an all-encompassing propaganda whose ideology hails the establishment of the New World Order as the culmination of history’s progress. Many influential historical and contemporary figures have therefore been alleged to be part of a cabal that operates through many front organizations to orchestrate significant political and financial events, ranging from causing systemic crises to pushing through controversial policies, at both national and international levels, as steps in an ongoing plot to achieve world domination.” Related to this, Wikipedia in supporting the “official narrative” informs us: “The inauguration of Joe Biden as the 46th president of the United States will mark the commencement of the four-year term of Joe Biden as president and Kamala Harris as vice president. A public ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, January 20, 2021, on the West Front of the United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.”

Firstly, a recap of my post-election Trumpwatch episodes thus far:

Trumpwatch 39 – the “Red Sea” moment – while the odds still don’t look good, truth and justice are on Trump’s side and along with an opening of the Red Sea type miracle, I expect him to prevail.

Trumpwatch 38 – A time to heal!? – while the Biden camp are calling upon Trump’s supporters to accept the result and come together in unity, I argue healing cannot take place, based on a lie.

Trumpwatch 37 – it ain’t over till the fat lady sings – as the press informs us Biden now has the 270 votes needed to secure the presidency and many rejoiced, I argue it is premature to celebrate.

Trumpwatch 36 – a time of reckoning or is it? – written within 12 hours of polls closing and the count not showing a clear winner – I weighed up the position and what might happen next.

But back to Trump’s mistakes and Trump’s flaws. They are many of course, but his saving grace is they are less than those of his detractors and, as I argue elsewhere, his successes and good qualities outweigh his bad points. I think there is some irony in his pardoning General Michael Flynn (a good thing). Going back to early on in his administration when Flynn was Trump’s national security advisor, Trump was prepared to throw Flynn under the bus based on trumped up charges. Flynn, more than any, understood the workings of the Deep State and would have been a staunch ally to withstand the attacks Trump later faced if he had kept faith. While Trump has attempted to make political capital over “Operation Warp Speed”, given the speed in which a vaccine is about to be made available, those of us with many reservations over the vaccine and the whole Corona saga are disappointed Trump may have been misled. I daresay, if politics were about debating the issues rather than bringing him down, there would be a lot more I might take issue with, but as it stands he has done, not just a passable job but an outstanding one, and I look forward to Trump’s re-election.

I am being inundated with reports and evidence of election fraud, typically not picked up by mainstream media or, if they are, they are distorted e.g. when they report on courts throwing out “spurious” legal challenges by the Trump camp. Of course, evidence needs to be presented and accepted by the courts if Trump is going to win and we are awaiting developments, which I have no doubt will be soon and will convince lovers of truth and hopefully the judicial system, even if that means the US Supreme Court. One thing I do reckon on – if Trump loses, expect a civil war (because of the many who won’t stand for it or am I being over optimistic concerning what I hope is a hypothetical scenario and people just acquiesce as they usually do), and if he wins, expect the Soros / Democrat backed BLM and Antifa activists to come out of the woodwork aided by the CCP, Deep State and other “Black hats” and resume rioting with a vengeance.  If the unthinkable does happen and Biden becomes President, I have no doubt the one major obstacle that stands in the way of the sort of Great Reset Wikipedia associates with we misguided conspiracy theorists, will be removed (if the truth is known, that has been the plan of the black hats all along to advance their nefarious agenda).

While the seven-year period described in Revelation 6-19 is to be expected, we can not say when and who is the Antichrist, a key player that appears to call the shots, aided by the False Prophet and the Devil and their minions, who controls humanity through deception. What we can say is the Great Reset when it happens will be at least a precursor to the “Great Tribulation”. I believe (although I don’t have divine revelation) not only will Christians have to face this (they will not yet be raptured) but should anticipate a period where the Gospel will prosper amidst suffering and persecution. As I reflect on the discomfort of this waiting period, I rejoice that the bad guys, whether media, world and religious leaders, societal elites who want a piece of the action and the deceived that are taken in, are showing their true colors, for all to see. As for those who look on with concern, especially if people of faith, it should be a great faith builder, a time to pray and preparation for a time we can be used by the Lord to help effect a worldwide Great Awakening for the Gospel. If there is a message for the people of God, it is to pursue holiness, trust in and listen to Him and be available in His service.

While my watching has been a rather roller coaster experience, I have no doubt I will soon look back at it with positivity. Of course, I want “my man” to win but history shows it often doesn’t always happen that way. Consider the twentieth century when each of Hitler, Stalin and Mao murdered millions of their own people. While Christians who opposed them were few, they did exist but their efforts to dislodge these evil men were unsuccessful and some may ask: where was God? Why should it be different with Biden? Biden is no Hitler etc. but it is evident by the day he is surrounding himself with creatures of the swamp Trump promised to drain in 2016. “Drain the swamp”, “Build the wall”, “Lock her up”, “Make America great” and “America first” may all be cliches many will take issue with, but I dread to think what will happen in an America when those in power (or rather who pull the strings of power, for it won’t be Biden) despises all Trumpism represents, advocates globalist Marxism, will allow corruption and will reverse the good things Trump has initiated, as discussed in earlier Trumpwatch episodes.

As one who believes our biggest need is NOT a Trump Presidency but rather a turning toward God (by Church then nation), followed by revival, and this irrespective of who is in power, I realise I must not get carried away. The issue of prophets who predicted a Trump victory, who may be shown up not to be true prophets if Trump loses, weighs on my mind. I believe God will honour the faith of His true prophets, including Dutch Sheets, someone I discovered recently, who I would put in a different church camp to me (but does it matter?). Among others, I have found his daily prayer briefings encouraging and the faith of those at his recent “Pray for Nation” event pretty awesome. The point to consider, is it isn’t about Trump (win or lose) but the Lord God Almighty – may He be glorified.
