In recent weeks, my attention has been drawn to a film series concerning the Life of Christ: “The Chosen”. I decided yesterday to check this out and as I write I have seen the first five episodes.

I have been a Facebook user for these past several years and have accumulated nearly the maximum number (5000) “friends” allowed on the way (and lost some too), and have nearly 3000 followers.

According to Wikipedia:

One of the story lines present day followers of “The Archers” will be well aware off – is one to do with Alice’s alcohol addiction (check out here for background).

I had an “epiphany moment” over the weekend that for a short time led me to a view that all my fellow Evangelicals were wrong and if such is in fact the case, then so is Evangelicalism and Christianity.

One of my favourite radio programs, which has been going for as long as I can remember, is Desert Island Discs.

Yesterday, I had interesting exchanges with a number of folk after posting the following meme on my Facebook page, preceded by what I thought was a conciliatory preamble:

Over the past year I have lost the respect and friendship of many respectable Christian friends.
