The Coronavirus and the cloud that may have a silver lining

Since the beginning of 2020, the outbreak of Corona-19 has proved a big deal in all sorts of ways and it wouldn’t be overstating the case if we declare this and the “vaccine” that goes with it as drastically affecting us all. While we are now back to some sort of normality,

as cases significantly lessen and many restrictions now lifted, many of the effects are with still us, and will remain so for some time to come! I hope I can associate the cloud, which is as dark as any cloud we may have come across, which is everything Coronavirus related, with silver linings (every difficult or sad situation has a comforting or more hopeful aspect, even though this may not be immediately apparent). Let me explain, but first I need to go back to the start of the outbreak before we begin looking into the future …

July 14, 2021, I began my “to be added to” e-book titled: “Covid-19 – the story that doesn’t end”. I wrote “The purpose of this e-book is to collect and collate my Covid-19 posts and to periodically add to it, when new developments as often there are, knowing the saga is far from ended. It is a huge subject and, I for one, would love to see in some crystal ball view how the story ends and how historians might report on what transpires in years to come”. The first post was on 22/02/20 (soon after most found out about Covid-19) and the last post was on 09/01/22.

Those who read what I wrote will know I am sceptical concerning the official Covid-19 narrative and against taking the jab. I don’t wish to go over what readers are invited to check out, but since writing I am even more convinced the narrative was false and the jabs result in net harm. Back in March 2020, when like many I was taken by surprise concerning what was soon categorised as a pandemic and knew not much more than my gut instinct, I was willing to go along some sort of lockdown imposed by government (which we were told would be for 2-3 weeks in order to flatten the curve and give the NHS breathing space to get its act together).

I could now go into a tirade on how bad things were which followed, indeed wicked, how regrettable that much of the populace was taken in, including Christian leaders, and how unnecessary were the draconian measures taken, and all the damage done, collateral and intended, but I will desist. Every day my Alternative Media sources throws up something interesting concerning Covid-19 and jabs but again I will refrain from going into these too much (besides which there are so only so many hours in the day and even if I became an expert, who would listen to me), despite revealing how bad the Unholy Trinity (government, media, elites) are with their lies and foolishness, including the terrible effects of taking the jab now coming to light. One (2-hour) video I would highly recommend because of the amount of factual content, along with evidence to back up claims, is titled: “The Big Reset Movie – The uncensored documentary about the truth of the pandemic”, where among many of its alarming assertions is the one that a tiny group of evil elite types have planned the “virus”, and especially the jab, to kill and enslave humanity.  

The video cites the Allegory of Plato’s Cave, which Wikipedia tells us is “an allegory presented by the Greek philosopher Plato in his work Republic (514a–520a) to compare “the effect of education (παιδεία) and the lack of it on our nature”. The allegory is presented after the analogy of the sun (508b–509c) and the analogy of the divided line (509d–511e). In the allegory “The Cave,” Plato describes a group of people who have lived chained to the wall of a cave all their lives, facing a blank wall. The people watch shadows projected on the wall from objects passing in front of a fire behind them and give names to these shadows. The shadows are the prisoners’ reality, but are not accurate representations of the real world. The shadows represent the fragment of reality that we can normally perceive through our senses, while the objects under the sun represent the true forms of objects that we can only perceive through reason. Three higher levels exist: the natural sciences; mathematics, geometry, and deductive logic; and the theory of forms. Socrates explains how the philosopher is like a prisoner who is freed from the cave and comes to understand that the shadows on the wall are actually not the direct source of the images seen. A philosopher aims to understand and perceive the higher levels of reality. However, the other inmates of the cave do not even desire to leave their prison, for they know no better life. Socrates remarks that this allegory can be paired with previous writings, namely the analogy of the sun and the analogy of the divided line”. Relevant to my silver lining thoughts is this not so dissimilar to where we are now, with many stuck still in the cave.

Things look dire but I believe this cloud does have a silver lining:

1. Up to recently, we were happy to go along with what we are told about the world and how to respond, but now we can see the fools and villains (in high places) for who they really are.
2. Included here are church leaders – it is always God’s intention to build the true church, which always has been a remnant, who have been / are being refined through trials and adversity.  
3. The Bible theme of God sending / allowing calamity is playing out, with the net effect many will turn to Him, which is always His intention, and is our golden opportunity to share the Gospel.
4. The Pan(scam)demic has thrown up many opportunities to love thy neighbour, in unexpected and practical ways, that have been acted upon, which is heartening to say the least.
5. The Pan(scam)demic has shown how people previously looked down on in society are those we should value most and view those we had looked up to in a more realistic light.
6. While we don’t know which combination of Great Reset, Great Awakening and Great Deception we are in for, we can be assured God is in control and that we can trust and hope in Him.
