My Covid briefing (3) – not looking good right now and yet there is cause for hope

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish” Psalm 1.

So let’s begin with causes for hope. We can see what may be at the heart of it – delight in the Lord and His ways, as in this first Psalm and, come to that, most of the following 149 Psalms. Those who, like me, rather hoped, this time a year ago, that there will be an overturning of the US fraudulent election results and an ending of the Corona nightmare, strangely connected and both orchestrated by the evil cabal looking to enslave us (as I have argued in my recent blogs), may well be looking ahead with consternation as we face a new year. Interestingly enough, some of those who believe this is so are, like me, often looking for relief, nominally from the good guys (whoever they are) coming to the rescue, supported by more and more people waking up. In many cases, there is a recognition of a spiritual angle – G(g)od (whoever he/it is) taking charge but often that spiritual entity is not the God of the Bible. Whether there is going to be a Great Reset (linked to a new normal and a New World Order) as advocated, often publicly, by the puppets of the evil cabal, or a Great Awakening as advocated by certain modern-day prophets and New Age Conspiracy Theorists (or a mixture of both) remains to be seen but, as for me, I point people back to the Psalms.

So back to “Covid-19 – the story that doesn’t end” (some of it told in my ebook with that title), my prediction before Christmas that Boris and company would be upping the ante to get more people jabbed is coming to pass (not that you needed special punditry or prophetic skills to predict this). The day after Christmas, like many others, I received the above message on my mobile and the following email (both from the NHS): “The COVID-19 travel certificate has been created in a bid to restore the freedom of travel, which has been put at a halt for over a year now, since the pandemic erupted all over the block. Through the certificate, the Commission intends to remove travel restrictions as entry bans, quarantine obligation, and testing. Those holding such a document will be able to travel throughout Europe without the need to quarantine or test for COVID-19. If you already know that you are eligible, you can directly get the hard or digital copy of your Passport today using the button below. Please confirm or reject your invitation by selecting an option below …”.

The psychological pressure to comply is on, as one concerned rebel observed (see above meme). Archbishop Selby is calling anti-jabbers selfish; Tony Blair is calling them idiots; Boris is suggesting, if Jesus were around today, he would take the jab; the leader of my local council is proposing if we end up in hospital we pay; many leaders sanctimoniously express outrage with those tiresome refuseniks and even the great hope of many, D.J.Trump, admits to having been boosted (although some suggest there is a lot more behind that story). Feelings are running high both sides of the “to mask/jab or not to mask/jab” debate, except there is usually no debate and being winsome is a challenge. So where can the deplorables turn to for providing evidence justifying not being jabbed in the light of the latest variant – not mainstream media, to be sure, as questioning the official narrative is now frowned upon, with intelligent discourse and agreeing to disagree at a premium. Actually, there is a lot out there challenging the “official narrative”. Telegram and Bitchute notably attracts the “deplorables”. We are spoiled for choice and not only are there not enough hours in the day to check everything out, but I am not sure that is best use of my time or what the Lord is calling me to do. Perhaps the pick of the bunch is a three-hour video covering many of the pertinent issues: “Plandemic / Scamdemic 4 – DEPOP – PART TWO – A MrTruthBomb Film”.

Perhaps, most perplexing in coming to terms with the latest developments on the Covid-19 front is how churches react to the latest government mandates and, not that we needed more evidence, the capitulation and cowardice on display by many church leaders. My own church insists on mask wearing during services (even though these come off when socialising in the adjoining hall). Another church, which I attended over Christmas, pays lip services to the “rules” but half didn’t wear a mask and the other half couldn’t quite figure out when to wear a mask. “The Non-Conformist Conscience” includes a consideration on how one might decide on the right response to the various mandates and to one another.

A year ago, I thought I had it pretty much figured out how things to do with election fraud and pan and scam demics would end up. I felt sure that there will be a Great Awakening with people waking up to what is going on, the good guys overcoming and bringing to justice the bad guys and true spiritual revival. Now, nothing is so sure other than the One who does not change and who is not only in complete control, but is up to something magnificent, including preparing a radiant bride for His Son, and wins in the end. Our part is to endure testing and remain faithful. I will not attempt to predict the future but urge readers to stand firm and follow the Psalmist’s example.

Thank God for a biblical take on the current situation. I, too, am aware of the narrative and the way fear and pressure are being used towards an agenda.
I would be interested to read, and you may well have documented it, your take on how this all fulfills prophesy in terms of Jesus talking of birth pangs in the Olivet discourse etc.

    • Thank you for your helpful comment Carolyn. In a strange way, if you were to ask serious Bible prophecy students two years ago how the “pandemic” we are experiencing with all the side affects and false flags relates to end time prophecy they would likely have drawn a blank. And yes, as you suggest, what we are seeing is part of the birth pangs. I began writing my “Prophets of the Bible” at the start of 2020 and being “locked down” was just the impetus needed. I have just released the second edition https://jrbpublications.com/2021/03/12/prophets-of-the-bible-the-second-edition/ partly to address what we are now seeing. I am conscious good Christians are not united on prophecy fulfillment and I have tried to adopt a cautious approach. Perhaps one of the things I have seen during this two year Covid period that I did mpt reckon on is the extent and deep rootedmess of the Babylonian system spoken of in Jeremiah 50&51 and Revelation 17&18. YHWH is definitely up to something beautiful and it is beholden on His Bride to be ready. Shalom!
