Lunch at the Last Post

An old mate dropped by my pad recently for a catch up and we decided to go and have lunch. I had in mind a “Toby Carvery” but my friend suggested we go for a “Wetherspoons”, which have a number of pubs and eating outlets across the country, some of which he had frequented in the recent past and quite liked.

Tortured for Christ – a message for our time

Yesterday, I finished reading a book: “Tortured for Christ”, which I had previously read and was moved by when a young Christian, mindful of how Christians suffered under Communism. Tommy Robinson is a hero

Tommy Robinson, aka Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was jailed for breaching an injunction by repeating libellous claims he made about a 15-year-old refugee, Jamal Hijazi. Jamal was filmed being assaulted in a playground attack at his school, before Robinson made a series of false claims about him. Musk’s call to free Robinson is ignorant, self-serving and dangerous”.
