Sadly, the widescale Christian persecution taking place around the world is barely reported. Recently, announcements by the Trump administration concerning persecution in Nigeria has demonstrated it is not being ignored completely by world leaders and is a hopeful sign that things might change for the better. In this posting, I raise the alarm, share what I am seeing and suggest ways to respond.

What to make of Meta AI?

Just over three months ago, I produced my “AI, Chat GPT and the Beast System” (see here), blog. In it I reflected on my own recent discovery and use of Artificial Intelligence. With the recent UK government announcement of its plans to introduce and even mandate Digital IDs, I have this down as a “concerning” subject to return to. But in this blog, I want to reflect on my experience using Meta AI, in association with my use of Facebook and WhatsApp and my endeavours as a blogger, and consider the future of AI.

My top six favourite UK politicians during my lifetime

Those who read my recent political blogs will likely detect a note of often scathing wariness when it comes to applauding the merits of the MPs who sit in the Westminster Parliament when addressing issues that I care about, although I suspect many MPs, including my own, do a good deal of good for their constituents. Despite my disappointment when it comes to MPs failing to deliver on what truly matters, over the years there have been those I have admired, regardless of political affiliation and even when far from being in full agreement. All have been their own men and men of integrity and principle. I present my top six, with reasons why I rate them highly.
