According to Wikipedia: “A civil war is a war between organized groups within the same state (or country). The aim of one side may be to take control of the country or a region, to achieve independence for a region, or to change government policies. The term is a calque of Latin bellum civile which was used to refer to the various civil wars of the Roman Republic in the 1st century BC”. There have been many civil wars but the ones I think of first are the English and American civil wars.

What we have been witnessing on the streets in the UK in recent weeks may NOT be civil war but may be something that could lead to one given the disquiet of many and the widespread difference in opinions and depth of feelings, including by some Christians who have gone out of my way way to take me to task, not so much over any alleged racist or xenophobic comments I might have made but my propensity to defer to what conspiracy theorists like Alex Jones and David Icke have had to say on the matter and being sympathetic toward the concerns raised by people like Nigel Farage and Tommy Robinson who have been scapegoated and made objects of hate for supposedly stirring up trouble. My response to my critics (and it is difficult to say this nicely while not falling out) is that they have been taken in by the Unholy Trinity (media, politicians and elites). I am also of the view that this civil war scenario is being played out the world over, notably the USA and France. As for who has pushed the idea of that is where we are heading, I quote from CNN (a prime pusher of fake news, making doing so even more pertinent) and this to do with what Elon Musk (whose opening up of Twitter, now X, has given to voice to folk otherwise being shut down) has had to say:

“Elon Musk says ‘civil war is inevitable’ as UK rocked by far-right riots. He’s part of the problem. Social media has played a big role in fueling the anti-immigration riots engulfing towns and cities in the United Kingdom. And agitator-in-chief Elon Musk is not sitting on the sidelines. The Tesla chief executive and owner of X posted to the platform Sunday that “civil war is inevitable” in response to a post blaming the violent demonstrations on the effects of “mass migration and open borders.” On Monday, a spokesperson for UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer addressed Musk’s comment, telling reporters “there’s no justification for that.” But Musk is digging his heels in. On Tuesday, he labeled Starmer #TwoTierKier in an apparent reference to a debunked claim spread by conspiracy theorists and populist politicians such as Nigel Farage that “two-tier policing” means right-wing protests are dealt with more forcefully than those organized by the left. He also likened Britain to the Soviet Union for attempting to restrict offensive speech on social media …”

Which brings me to the meme that got me writing this blog (see above) and all sorts of folk upset because it challenged their own take on recent events. Three of the “Christian” responses included “There is no civil war in the UK, just a growing rejection of fascist incitement, and a determination to bring street thugs to justice”, “I’d say the likes of Farage, Musk, Yaxley-Lennon and others were probably saddened by the peace and quiet the other night” and “Trying to paint it as a civil war is ridiculous. The vast majority are law-abiding, anti-racist, decent people. There is a vile minority that uses other people’s fears as a cover for gratuitous violence, crime, and attempts to destabilize the government”. Another response that seemed to be representative of what I have been seeing on social media was “Yet another inflammatory statement designed to start yet more inflammation…”. It was also important to make the point that my critics seem to miss and that is to do with the Great Reset ideas pushed by the Black Hats, where bringing about civil war is used to make it happen.

Rather than respond in length at the time with something half-baked and mindful that my last blog included a reminder to self that I needed to be a channel of God’s peace, I said I would go away and think about what was being said by a wide array of people before responding in full and being mindful that two of my detractors were fans of his, I left them with a quote from the late Tony Benn: “I hate war. War is murder, rape, torture & plunder. Churchill was right, jaw jaw is always preferable”. Having gone away, given the matter further thought, checked out what folk with something meaningful to say, especially if not already said, done my research etc., I want to share these following thoughts:

The first thing that comes to mind when it comes to those critical of my position is that it is back to racism and George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter protests of a few years ago. Not only is there the anti-racist protest I witnessed in my city a few days back, but I noted there was one yesterday in the centre of Southend. The BLM protests were good example of two-tier policing in action. What we have now is a large group of people that our Prime Minister has branded as far right thugs and being the main concern and cause of the problems we now see, while failing to acknowledge the concerns of those raised long before three young girls were murdered in Southport, and that has already been discussed in my two earlier related blogs: “A summer of attacks and riots in Britain and unravelling the ‘narrative’” and “A summer of rioting, Southend affected, peacemakers needed, and a Christian response”. While there was thuggery afoot, notably, initially, an attack on a local mosque in response to the original Southport attack and to misinformation the attacker was a recent Muslim immigrant, and needs to be condemned, many of those being accused of being far right terrorists, including the 100,000 people who attended a peaceful protest in Trafalgar Square a few weeks to protest about the very issues I raised in my earlier blogs concerning the direction the country is allowed to go, not that my critics would know if all they take in is what the Unholy Trinity tell us or in this case don’t tell us, and that includes violent mob actions, including by Muslims, e.g. recently in Birmingham, that our two tier agenda police don’t deal with, for reasons that include political correctness. My sense is that many of these folk would never take to the streets to vent their concerns and these include the very best among us in our society, who bear no ill will against black, Muslim or recent immigrant folk.

Seeing I choose to identify with this group, and while I don’t want to talk about myself, my record as a community activist, where I have worked with, befriended, advocated on behalf of black, Muslim and recent immigrant folk, speaks for itself, I thought I would do so and add none of us know all of the facts and all of us can get it wrong. But I see the danger of where my country and indeed the world is heading. Like the prophets of old, all I am doing is warning people, including what we now see is the judgment of God and the only remedy is to turn to God as this articulate chap argues in this “The Battle for Britain a Christian response to the chaos in the UK”. I also see this a precursor to the reign of the AntiChrist spoken of in Revelation 13. But as with the prophets, those who speak out against the official narrative often have to pay a heavy price. My concern is the same as that of many of the ‘far right, racists’ that there is something seriously afoot in our countries and it goes far deeper than too many recent immigrants, including those leaning to Islam, that don’t hold to British ways and laws and are allowed to do so and are led by a uni party (Labour and Conservative in the UK, Democrat and Republican in the US) who do not care for the concerns of ordinary people and rather are beholden to the evil cabal who run planet earth preparing the way to the Man of Sin.

Much more could be said of course and I could dig deeper giving chapter and verse as to why I think as I do. But time is short and my capacity etc. is limited but I have had a go in some of the 2000+ blogs articles I have posted in recent years. Talking of memes, I agree with that I found posted earlier today by one of my critics (see above). But I end with what one from one of those prophets of old that went out of their way to warn the people over the errors of their ways and say what they needed to do, while paying a heavy price.

what makes me laugh when I see British people complaining about immigrants not integrating into British society, is that the British have NEVER done this when they have gone to live in a foreign country! They mostly don’t even bother to learn the language, expecting everybody to speak their language. Even when they go abroad on holiday they have a reputation for behaving badly and dressing inappropriately when they are guests in other people’s countries…
Do you think the expats in Dubai adopt Arab dress, watch Dubai TV, learn to read and write Arabic etc? Compare them with Muslim immigrants in the UK and tell me which make more of an effort to integrate!!!
The issue is not one of whether or not immigrants adopt the host culture (and you are right in your observation of Brits aboard) but rather our letting in more than we can handle and given some go far beyond non integration e.g. grooming gangs and a uni party that lets in such people, police who do not protect and a strain on services because immigration numbers have been allowed to escalate. Btw in my own city of 180000 we have 20% immigrants of which a high proportion are first generation. Many are lovely; I am married to one of them. I also think our problems go far beyond a spike in foreigners coming into the country and is why I am not in full agreement with Farage and Reform but also I do not agree with the approach of some in power that demonizes some of the decent citizens by labeling them as being far right. Many are alarmed at a Prime Minister that plays into the hands or rather create the climate in which they can flourish of some of those standing against racism and in doing so making those who see our country going down a destructive path as being the problem by name calling them for expressing their concerns and asking questions (including threats on future free speech) while failing to address the issues I raise in this and my last two blogs. As a result many good people who see through what is being pushed by them in power, often preferring how things used to be as opposed to the dystopian nightmare that is in prospect as the Great Reset agenda plays out, having grave concerns, yet typically don’t protest (violent or non-violent), are understandably vexed and angry.
