Sacred music to inspire

A bit of refreshment before back to blogging on some heavy stuff …

Music is not my particular forte but the older I get the more I recognise its importance and as an perfect antidote to a lot of the heavy-duty stuff we have to deal with on a daily basis.

I have selected twelve pieces (quite varied in terms of genre) of sacred music that not only do I like but have lifted me up in recent days. Forgive the adverts, a price to pay using free You Tube, but enjoy and be encouraged …

  1. Dear Lord and Father of Mankind
  2. American marines singing “Days of Elijah”
  3. El Shaddai Medley / You Are My Hiding Place
  4. Best Version of Jesu, Joy Of Man’s Desiring by Bach
  5. The Battle Hymn of the Republic
  6. All Souls Orchestra ft. Matt Redman – 10,000 Reasons
  7. You are My All in All | Fountainview Academy
  8. Lord of the dance by Heath mount school choir
  9. Crown Him with Many Crowns
  10. Handel’s Messiah Live from the Sydney Opera House
  11. How Great Thou Art performed by Elvis Presley
  12. Low in the Grave He Lay
