Incredibly for me, it has been two weeks since I last blogged. It is not that there is a shortage of blog worthy material, nor that I have stopped watching on my wall, but rather that I hadn’t quite figured out how to tackle the subject I wanted to write about (ref. the title) that goes to the heart of what are my own present preoccupations.

Musk is the wealthiest individual in the world; as of January 2025, Forbes estimates his net worth to be US$421 billion”. He is a controversial and outspoken character and has been a lot in the news recently.

“Tommy Robinson, aka Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was jailed for breaching an injunction by repeating libellous claims he made about a 15-year-old refugee, Jamal Hijazi. Jamal was filmed being assaulted in a playground attack at his school, before Robinson made a series of false claims about him. Musk’s call to free Robinson is ignorant, self-serving and dangerous”.
