The WHO Pandemic Treaty

My first “Google hit” when I typed in “WHO pandemic treaty” was “The WHO Pandemic Treaty, officially named the International Treaty on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response, is a legally binding agreement between the 194 WHO member states designed to improve global pandemic preparedness and response. It aims to address weaknesses revealed during the COVID-19 pandemic, such as the uneven distribution of resources and lack of coordinated international action” … and you may say “what?” or “so what!”.

A BBC article dated 16th April 2025, titled: “WHO agrees legally binding pandemic treaty” (see here) begins: “Members of the World Health Organization (WHO) have agreed the text of a legally binding treaty designed to better tackle future pandemics. The pact is meant to avoid the disorganisation and competition for resources seen during the Covid-19 outbreak. Key elements include the rapid sharing of data about new diseases, to ensure scientists and pharmaceutical companies can work more quickly to develop treatments and vaccines. For the first time, the WHO itself will also have an overview of global supply chains for masks, medical gowns and other personal protective equipment (PPE). WHO director general Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus described the deal as “a significant milestone in our shared journey towards a safer world”. “[Member states] have also demonstrated that multilateralism is alive and well, and that in our divided world, nations can still work together to find common ground, and a shared response to shared threats,” he said. The legally binding pact reached early on Wednesday came after three years of talks between member states. It is only the second time in the WHO’s 75-year history that an international agreement of this type has been reached – the first being a tobacco control deal in 2003. It still needs to be formally adopted by members when they meet for the World Health Assembly next month. US negotiators were not part of the final discussions after President Donald Trump announced his decision to withdraw from the global health agency, and the US will not be bound by the pact when it leaves in 2026”.

A good thing, some might say, but not in my view and not in the view of CitizenGo (see here), a lobbying organisation (often on the right issues – imho), who bent my ears in an email today that begins: “Remember how normal life disappeared overnight with the pandemic? Unelected officials—convinced they knew what was best for you—plunged the planet into fear, prohibitions, and the worst trampling of your freedoms in modern history. We were forced into wearing masks that did nothing and confined to our homes. Businesses were shut down, basic rights were suspended, and vaccines were pushed on us as if we were livestock. Brave doctors and professionals who spoke out were censored, and churches were locked—so we couldn’t even pray for our loved ones. That nightmare must never become permanent—yet the WHO Pandemic Treaty is designed to do exactly that. And right now, I’m preparing for one of the most important weeks of my life. The WHO Pandemic Treaty is drafted. Finalized. And in just 7 days, Health Ministers from around the world will gather in Geneva to vote. If they vote YES, the world you remember will never be the same again. The lockdowns. The mandates. The censorship. They’ll have the power to bring it all back—and worse. I’m telling you all this because I need you to be part of this with me, not tomorrow, not next week, but right now”. Sadly, unlike the US Trump led administration, the UK Starmer equivalent looks like they are going to be a dead cert for signing up and sadder still I see little evidence of opposition to prevent that happening. Thus this blog!

And will it make a blind bit of difference, I ask myself? As a watchman on the wall, even if in the eyes of some goody two shoes’ Christians, a self-appointed one, I feel compelled to do so, taking heart that is what Isaiah the prophet did even though God told him that people wouldn’t listen. When the last pandemic happened, that I refer to as plan or scamdemic, I was one of the few skeptics at the time and even fewer who raised my head above the parapet, only to be shot down in flames, including by nice Christians. I wrote about my experiences and perspectives in my Covid-19 – the story that doesn’t end” ebook (see here), last updated 09/01/22. We have move on of course (and most have) but we mustn’t forget the devastating untoward impact that the Pan/Plan/Scamdemic had on EVERYONE, including the role of the vaccine (jab), which we were told we had to take, actually doing net harm, as well as the nefarious role of the WHO. The question arises – how to respond to the next “pandemic”? Thankfully, more are waking up to the fact we were conned and worse, last time. Evidence is coming out to argue that case, although sadly our leaders usually choose to ignore it.

Here endeth the lesson as they say. I’ve done my watchmen bit and I don’t delight being the bearer of bad news – but I need to move on, while continuing to Watch (and warn) and pray!
