When did you begin to believe what might be called conspiracy theories (how, why etc.)?

A few days back, I was having a productive exchange, over the ether, with an old friend, about what was happening and how to respond to happenings in today’s world, when he asked the question: “Ps can you remember when you began to believe what might be called conspiracy theories?”. This is my response and, because it is one I suspect that others who follow my take on world events may be interested in, I write this article and am widening the discussion.

In fact, I partly answered the question two and a half years ago with my blog article “Conspiracy theorists; how I became one and tips to pass on”. I suggest folk who want to know my answer as of now still read this as it is relevant. Then we need to establish what a conspiracy theorist is, especially as most are conditioned to believe these are folk who are misled and having a strange belief that the Devil is lurking around every corner doing his mischief. I’m happy to go with my first Google hit (albeit with caveats) when seeking a definition in which we can agree: “someone who believes in a conspiracy theory (= the idea that an event or situation is the result of a secret plan made by powerful people)”. My caveats are that some/many conspiracy theories are bogus or mere conjecture, many conspiracy theorists are in fact truth seekers, mindful of a powerful Unholy Trinity (media, politicians, elites) who lie or at least withhold the truth on what is really going on and why, and that over time many conspiracy theories are later proven to be facts, e.g. when it comes to 9/11, the JFK assassination, the moon landings, the Covid / “vaccine” and Climate Emergency hoaxes, the stolen 2020 US Presidential election, the War in Ukraine etc.

Since the Unholy Trinity lie, I look to other sources for information, mindful I could easily get lost down rabbit holes or, back to a concern of my friend who asked the question, be a Christian that gets waylaid from walking down that straight and narrow path we are meant to be walking. One of the conspiracy theory originators or passers on of information I check out from time to time is Charlie Ward. He once came up with the idea that all of us live in one of three dimensions. Those who are living in the third dimension (the majority) more or less go along with what they are told by the Unholy Trinity, often backing up one another, is happening. Then are those living in the fourth dimension, who don’t believe all what they are told, yet are unsure as to what it is they ought to believe. Finally, we come to the few (and if dear Russell Brand (another of the growing number of sources I have gravitated toward in recent days) is to be believed is a growing cohort of awakened wonders) who actually fall in line with what our afore-mentioned definition says: the idea that an event or situation is the result of a secret plan made by powerful people.  Some of my more savvy Christian friends might suggest – it is the modern version of the ancient Christian heresy of Gnosticism rearing its ugly head – and they could be right for therein lies a  danger or, as I stated earlier, may come as a result of people who have been wised up to the Devil’s devices operating in Prince of Darkness mode, accepting them when an angel of light.

This is my 2,364th blog post since entering the blogosphere on February 22 2014 with my “Hello World” blog. I reckon that the vast majority of those posts had nothing to do with conspiracy theories but a number, arguably, did. Around that time, I began to post my thoughts on all sorts of subjects on social media, mainly Facebook, and have continued to do so ever since except for the times when I was banned, arguably because some of what are posted is what the powers that control Facebook disapprove. Also, I began to find folk, including those I regarded as sensible friends, posting stuff concerning what is happening in the world that did not align to how I saw things. This experience of seeing things differently had begun long before although, going back to Charlie, I was then more in alignment with the fourth rather than fifth dimension. But things began to change with two happenings: the 2016 US Presidential election and Donald Trump throwing his hat in the ring with his “drain the swamp” message and the Brexit campaign, and its message to regain national sovereignty gathering momentum.

While I agreed with both messages, it was not until when I began to witness the untoward effects of lockdown and other measures to combat the Covid Pandemic and the call to jab everyone, which happened with ruthless intent right across the world, the stealing of the 2020 Presidential election in favour of a globalist puppet, and later the widespread support by western leaders of Ukraine and the NATO Alliance in its war against Russia that I began to see that these were not unrelated or happenstance events. Much else can be (imho) better explained by “conspiracy theory” rather than the official explanations we are expected to accept, e.g. the recent devastating hurricanes in the USA may be as a result of weather manipulation with evil intent rather than man induced climate change. There are many bad actors on the world stage who I could name and they are well know to most of us, along with “useful idiots” whose support they can rely upon, and finally the largely dumbed down masses who go along with the version of events I refer to as “the narrative”. I see at the very near top there is a hidden human hand who are intent on killing us off or otherwise enslaving us in order to bring about their version of the New World Order or Great Reset, and at the very top spiritual forces led by Satan.

I have come to the view that this is the most likely explanation for many of the extraordinary and unpleasant events we have been witnessing in recent years and, arguably, for millennia before that. Besides checking out my blogs, there are several sources I could cite to support my views, along with a degree of humility recognising there is much we can not know/say for sure due to insufficient evidence. A good place to begin is Janet Ossebaard’s (3-hour) “Fall of the Cabal Documentary, along with my customary “test and weigh” rider. The other rider is the need for balance and perspective, realising that while ignorance is not an excuse for inaction, our call is to firstly and secondly to love God and love our neighbour and to preach the Word in and out of season. While I don’t want to discourage folk checking out alternative media, I would rather they draw close to God and study what He has to say in the Bible concerning our times and responses, and right up to the end.
