There is a popular hymn (considered heretical by some of my sound Christian friends) titled “Lord of the Dance” where the hero (in this hymn, it is Jesus) is able to carry on dancing despite whatever is thrown at him, including being nailed to a cross: “I danced on a Friday when the sky turned black. It’s hard to dance with the devil on your back. They buried my body and they thought I’d gone, but I am the Dance, and I still go on”. The possibly irreverent thought came to mind – it reminds me of Trump!

It has been almost a year since my last Trumpwatch episode: “Trumpwatch (59) – the End Game”, and much has happened in Trump land since then, including being found guilty in a court of law on several counts and him now being the odds-on favourite to win the 2024 US Presidential election, having blown away any opposition to that title. I have resisted the temptation to blog on the subject, at least until now, instead looking on with consternation at world events, ever mindful that the Trump factor is significant.
I have been keenly following events around Trump ever since he put his hat into the ring as a 2016 US Presidential contender up to the stolen 2020 US Presidential election and periodically after that (check out my Donald J. Trump ebook to find out what I have written). The one thing Trump has done that no other politician in my lifetime has achieved is wake me and others up to what is really going on in the world, including the uncomfortable truth we being controlled by bad people for nefarious ends (and that is why there has so many attacks on the man, while far worse get away with doing the wrong thing). Like many, it has been with consternation seeing them prosper and good people deceived and succumb. Like many, I see disturbing happenings in the world believing and hoping the common sense spoken by Trump and his allies of what needs to happen will eventually prevail. I have gone from taking the sort of unsympathetic view pushed by many elements of the Unholy Trinity (politicians, media, elites) to one seeing him leading the charge against the tiny, elite, globalist, satanic cabal that run things, despite his many faults. Given the power and influence of said Trinity, many go along with it, although increasingly many are waking up to the fact they have been had, even if not knowing where to turn.
One of my blogs written five years ago was titled “The case for Trump – a Christian perspective”, where contrary to the views of many nice Christians who are imho part of the Great Deception amidst Great Reset and Great Awakening all taking place before us (as discussed in my blogs on the subject, such as see here), albeit often hidden in plain sight, there is a case and he is the Lord’s anointed to help drain the swamp. Whether Trump is more a Jehu than a Cyrus (both kings described as being anointed in the Bible) I cannot say for sure because there is much I do not know and God has not shown me the full picture. Nor can I say for sure that Trump is the real deal to lead the battle against an assortment of baddies named in my blogs (I hope and think he is) or controlled by Satan, switching from Prince of Darkness mode, in controlling the likes of Joe Biden, Klaus Schwab and King Charles, to that as an angel of light all set to bring about a Middle East peace deal and hailed as a saviour, but thereby ushering in the reign of the Antichrist.
Now take a deep contemplative breath before consigning me as conspiracy theorist fruitcake to be pitied, ridiculed or ignored, but you need to recognise I have been watching on the wall for a number of years now and have done my research and know my Bible. I have shared my findings concerning what I see in my blogs and writing as well as expounding the Bible. I don’t class myself as a prophet because I haven’t been recognised as one in church circles and I fear God too much to make that claim. But we do live in dangerous days and we are heading for even darker times that is beyond human endeavour to reverse without God. Besides being emboldened to stand up to the villains who fear such responses, this is the time for people to turn to the Lord, their only hope. While a watchman needs to warn (which is what I am doing) the bigger need is for folk to follow Jesus and those who do follow Him to live a life of holiness. I would quote the old hymn: “O Lord, send a revival, and let it begin in me“, for that is the pressing need for this hour.
Which brings me back to earlier today when I posted my thoughts concerning this coming Thursday’s UK General Election (see here), but even more important than this from a global perspective (given so much of significance is happening outside the UK and US, often not or mis-reported) is that of November’s US Election given the US’s position on the world stage. Methinks, anything might happen between now and then and that we are in for shocks and while we may want to hope for the best we would do better to prepared for the worst. We mustn’t look to Trump or any earthly leader to help us out (I am convinced God is raising up people in unlikely situations to do this, and you could be one of them). Just as I ended my last blog by quoting Psalm 2, I do so again here for it is strangely pertinent.
